Auto safety kits are also in high demand among clients due to their uniqueness and ability to customize. “Our best seller in this category is the auto safety kit,” says Dale Kirby, director of marketing for Sherwood, Oregon-based distributor Promopeddler.com (UPIC: Bagpe110). ![]() Customization and safety go hand-in-hand with popular auto safety kits. The new Automotive Safety Kit by Justin Case is perfect for the carpool-driving mom or the salesman on the road. “When you give a gift like this it shows you care about the people you work with, and it is something most folks don’t head to the store to pick up for themselves,” says Kirby. The sale of auto safety kits and first aid kits make up 70 percent of Justin Case's business. “There’s customization with auto safety kits,” says Justin Case Customer Service Manager Heather Clark. “We have pre-designed kits but also have a list of components that clients can choose from based on price point, such as booster cables and flashlights.” In addition to safety, promotional consultants can target drivers’ boredom or irritability with products. “Many people are not happy while they are in their car,” says Hoylman. “If a company can give an item that makes the ride more enjoyable, they have accomplished the ultimate purpose of giving a useful promotional product.” |
